Tyneside at Sheringham

Set off in good weather allowing plenty of time for a 1:30pm arrival. Only snag was I ran into long tailbacks at Swaffham and Fakenham. But I still managed to arrive at 1:40pm! Met up with Nigel and unloaded; Dave and Martin rolled up shortly after and we did a bit of clever parking round the back of the club. Dave’s parents and Jen / Laura arrived as we were setting up. It was a nice sunny day and there weren’t many in the club by the time we soundchecked. I was still operating with the brittle guitar sound of the night before, but it was OK at soundcheck so I resolved to sort it out in the week. We played much the usual sets and the sound and banter was generally good and reported as such by the audience. The raffle came and went and it was soon time for us to play our last song and sign off for the day. Had a good run back through Swaffham and home for 8:15pm
