Following a discussion with our agent about livening up for some gigs he was lining up we focussed our agenda on doing just that. We were using my studio set up so no gear to shift! Mick arrived a bit early and we went through the harmonies to the Hollies medley. Once Nige arrived we ran through this agenda:
1. Loosen up with: How Long (ACE Mick Lead)
2. Shortened Beatle Medley: For the time being - Stop after “All My Lovin’”.
3. Review Harmonies – Searchers, Hollies medleys, Do It Again.
4. Peaceful Easy Feeling (Mick Lead) some improvements to the arrangement.
5. Sky High play through a couple of times.
6. Newer Material:
a. Daydream Believer (Mog Lead)
b. How Long (Eagles) (Mick Lead)
c. Mony Mony (Nige Lead)
d. Lonesome Town (Nige)
e. Walk of Life (Nige Lead)
f. Sweet Home Alabama (Mog Lead)
It all went pretty well – so we agreed to give most of these an airing on the Saturday gig.
